Leith

We said goodbye to Ralph and his Mum and Dad in the morning after they had gone round the castle with an inch tape measuring the items they wanted.
Since they have the largest house which needs filled, they will be happy to absorb most of our excess furniture.

Then it was off to that famous Swedish emporium to get some ideas for slim line storage space. Along with the other few hundred people we wound our way in, out and round about the various departments.
Isn't it amazing how a large rectangular metal barn of a place can appear like a maze and have you walk about a mile through various room settings without quite knowing where you are and hardly able to get off the designated route. We did manage to avoid certain departments by inadvertently nippping through a gap in the displays and finding ourselves in the nursery department next to the exit. But we had seen enough and had also managed to have a rather nice healthy lunch into the bargain.

With his usual bonhomie, His lordship suggested we drive down to Leith so that I could wander with my camera while he sat in the warmth of the car and listened to the radio.
It was a cold grey wander with a few spots of rain. I didn't linger and I found little inspiration. Not a good camera day for me.
