Morning Sunshine!

Unfortunately we are done with double digit temperatures for the next little while, but the wind has died down and the sun is shining! It's a good day ... so far!

This is a picture of the eastern end of the Calgary skyline. Calgary saw a large construction boom in the early part of the decade with several new office towers added to the skyline. Two new additions, the twin towers of Livingston Place, can be seen on the right hand side of the photo reflecting the sunlight.

Although construction has slowed with the downturn in the global economy, there are still several projects underway, including Eigth Avenue Place and The Bow (seen on the left hand side of this picture). When finished The Bow will be the tallest building in Canada west of Toronto.

Also seen in this picture is the Suncor (formerly PetroCanada) building, which is currently the tallest building in Calgary.
