The Limbo Shelf

I tried to take this picture a couple of days ago but a camera malfunction put a stop to that. This means that the option of posting daily is no longer available, so one decision no longer has to be made.

As this is a journal I thought it should be recording things liable to change, so I chose this shelf in the kitchen which houses books in limbo. These are not completely unread but are yet to reach their proper home as they are in the process of gradual assimilation.

Spines of books and records always hold a certain fascination, but this isn't as well composed as I'd like, as it involved leaning precariously while standing on a chair from quite close, employing quite a wide-angled lens.
