The New Bamboo

I encountered a few teething troubles with the new pen and touch tablet, but thankfully the wasom forums sorted it out. My previous tablet drivers were conflicting as they hadn't been properly uninstalled. This led to me spending many hours last night playing around till the wee small hours.

Mate Alastair came up today, but before all the fun started I had to get some curtains up, not fun at all! Met Alastair off the train at 5pm and took him straight to Holyrood 9A to sample the delights of Brew Dog Zeitgeist on draught. Then to The Regent for a couple of Deuchars and finally a quick stop back at the flat to drop off his bags.

I made a wine recipe of his Dad's a while back and his Mum dug out some of his recipe books, one of which is handwritten and totally fantastic. After oohing and ahhing over these, and drinking a margarita, we headed up to Broughton Street to meet my cousins.

First stop was Mathers but a wierdo kept hassling one of my cousins so we hot footed it to The Cask and Barrel where everyone was introduced to the Brought Street Domestic, it went down very well.

Barony was next, for my dose of Old Peculiar before finally hitting the casino, inevitable when my cousins are out. Managed to stay even for a while but ended up being £15 down. It wasn't too bad and the drinks are reasonable.
