Don?t Know Nuffink

Clachnaben

I was hoping that when I woke up this morning the weather would be as good as what it was yesterday, even though I had checked the forecast and knew we were due some wet weather, and for once the forecast was correct, it wasn't chucking it down, just the miserable drizzle and low grey clouds.

This was no use as myself and Liz were planning on heading up into the hills, walking up Clachnaben, thankfully the weather cleared slightly, although we were still left with the uninspiring sky and light, and we headed west to start the walk.

We parked up on the Fettercairn to Banchory road and walked through the forest to Glen Dye, it had a fantastic feeling of isolation especially since we were the only people there, well apart from the sheep that is! The further up the hill we got the more snow we had to trample through, eventually we decided to turn back just shy of the summit.

Back at Liz's house we made some chilli nachos whilst sipping on a glass of wine, thoroughly deserved after the 2.5 hours of walking we had done, whilst continuing to watch more of Dexter.

On another note my car appears to be struggling still, I have no faith now in the Skoda main dealer and will not return there.
