Rook landing (or surely that should be treeing?)..

I was at my sister's birthday party on Saturday night and it was very dim in the hotel and there was red wine and I lost some millions of brain cells so next day I forgot to change the iso when I was watching this rook flying collecting stuff for a nest. But technical incompetance apart, I love these birds "to the point of madness" as the wonderfull John Peel once said of a Laura Cantrell song.

One of the (many) reasons that I love crows
is because of their big feet and toes....
