Signs of Autumn

The temperature has dropped and the air is definitely autumnal. I lit the fire last night for the first time this year.

I have been so happy to have my close family with me, even if it was just a short time.

The fantail didn't seem to mind four people in his indoor territory. He came in several times, did his rounds, cleaning moths off the ceiling and the odd fly from a window, and fighting the rival in the mirror.
