Falkland Palace

Bro 1 went to a charcoal art workshop at Falkland Palace today with 2 of his friends. He has been to willow weaving workshops there before & really enjoyed it. They have some great activities on for kids in the holidays.

They had to choose images of Fife they knew & then sketch them out in charcoal on a large wooden board & paint them. The finished work is to be displayed at The Big Tent Festival at Falkland Palace in the summer. (As will the willow panels they did at half term.)

Bro 1 choose these irises which will be familiar to anyone who has driven past them. (answers on a postcard.....)

They all had a great time so no doubt they'll be wanting me to book them in for the next workshop.
