Cherry Blossom

This tree has been brightening up the front of the garden forever, it's fighting for space with an out of control laurel and holly tree - I think it may be time to give it some assistance.

Been tidying up the garden the last couple of days, having picked up most of last years leaves yesterday, I gave the lawnmower its annual outing today. Don't read too much into the word "lawnmower" - we certainly don't have a lawn, where it's not bare earth the green colour is provided by moss and that never reaches a height to be mowed. So its annual outing is mainly for a tidy up of the leaves that I've not raked up and any other detritus that it can pick up, which it performed admirably, even jumping into life on the first pull of the starter cord.
