Blue-rain we call it in German...

These flowers, which are incredibly strong and can become tree-like, we call blue-rain in German... I always wondered why, since they are more purple and I have never seen a blue one...

When I was on my way to university this morning they really surprised me, because they are at a corner I pass about every day... It's amazing what springtime does to the world. Suddenly everything growing seems to burst with energy and wants to turn into all it can be as fast as possible. Just wonderful.
