Ephesus and the Amphitheatre......

It?s Tuesday so it must be Turkey, we landed this morning at around 07:00am and we awake to a blazing sun and no clouds.
We headed straight to Ephesus where the ancient city remains are, and well worth a visit if you?re on Holiday here, there were many Columns and marbles along with an ancient Toilet, where there are about twenty seats, all communal to do your business on and continuous running water to keep the waste down to a minimum.

But the best part was this Amphitheatre, it?s capacity was 24,000 people, and funny enough there was no venue that was bigger in the modern Turkey. It was built in
2 AD for the local people and the Romans that were based here for them to view Plays and music.

We have one last day on the Boat and we land in Athens tomorrow morning and then on Thursday we head off home, but it has been a good Holiday.

BTW the Crew member is on the mend and out of Danger, but still in the Hospital.
