Re-potting...

I find something rather therapeutic about working on my bonsai. I've got two of them, one came ready prepared as a house warming present and this one has been with me for at least 5 or 6 and was bought as a training plant. It's my longest living plant I've nurtured from sapling.

It was looking a wee bitty be-draggled and it's starting to get some fresh leaves so I decided to treat it to a wee bit of pampering before the growing season starts in earnest.

So, it's a fresh pot of compost, a well over due root trimming (the roots should stay around the same sort of size as the branches), and a wee pruning of some dead leaves and branches. I even managed to salvage my sign from the recently deceased plasticine scene at work.
