Monumental day out

Great trip to the National Wallace Monument at Stirling today. Fantastic weather and tales of heroes to stir the blood.

Our Matthew was counting the steps on the way down and went to check with the ticket lady if he'd got it right. "No", she said, "try again". So he did. Mind, it was only 246 steps so he wasn't even out of breath. The woman had the good grace to look a little sheepish.

A really fun visit, but I just couldn't get this song out of my head for some reason.
