The Last Day

Today is the last day of summer, for me at least. School starts tomorrow. I was planning on going outside enjoying the last dregs of sunshine, but today it rained :-(. I still had a horseback-riding lesson today, as did my mom. I rode Doc, whose lameness was all better after some rest.

This shot is of the inside of a Mexican food restaurant, the beer signs on the wall to be specific. I was pretty desperate. I brought in Dad's little unobtrusive camera instead of taking one of the bulky SLR's. It was kind of fun to point at bright or shiny objects and randomly swirl the camera around (since it was so dark, the shutter speeds were really slow).
