Ready, Steady, Goooooooooooooooooooo

I recently found this rather lovely, but unusual 'Stop Clock'. It was a little worse for wear; broken glass, damaged clock face, missing screws and no tick! But I fell in love with it instantly. It has a sense of simple purpose and is much larger than you might at first think, at 12" in diameter and 4" deep.

A dear friend, Matt, very kindly fixed it for me, for which I will be eternally grateful to him.

We think it orginally had legs and was probably a school 'Sports Day' stop watch, as the large dial is in seconds and the tiny one for 60 minutes.
