Tulip fever

The tulip are a symbol of the Netherlands. Many tourists visit the country just to see the bright coloured flowers and the beautiful views over the bulb fields.

It looks like they have exported some tulips to Brussels, because there are some really nice ones in the park outside my office. So, continuing on the floral theme of yesterday, I decided to photograph some tulips today.

This is the inside of a tulip flower with the stamen. There are also some grains of pollen of the petals of the flower.
