Ice Plant

A little succulent that grows in our garden and has great color is the Ice Plant.

It only grows about six inches high and has blossoms that are about an inch or an inch and a half wide.

This plant has the interesting property of only opening in the direct sunlight. As I write this, the time is about 5:00 o'clock pm and already the blossoms are beginning to fold up for the night. Kinda like the retirement community where we live.
