Heldenplatz in Vienna

I spent the day wandering around Vienna again, with a stop to see the Lipizzaner stallions practice and also get a behind-the-scenes tour there. But they wouldn't allow any photography or videography, so I can't share those. ;-)

Right outside the Spanish Riding School where the Lipizzaner horses live and work is Heldenplatz. The Hofburg Imperial Palace is at one end, looking over the Heldenplatz. To the right in this photo is the building housing the Imperial Apartments (Kaiserappartements), and in the distance is the Rathous ("council house").
