Good Work

Rainy, horrible, wet, miserable and awful, is how I would describe this afternoon in Dublin's Grafton St, where this girl and about a dozen other volunteers were looking for signatures for their petition.
She's not looking very well prepared for the weather, but the Chadians she is trying to help are much worse off.
The petitioners hope to put pressure on the Irish and French governments to keep their UN military contingents in Chad to keep the peace. Both governments are planning to remove them shortly.
