We went to Goodwood Races today: a bubbly picnic in the drizzle and rain, followed by an entertaining afternoon studying form... Amazingly we did well at the bookies, came out on top and almost paid for the food and wine!

It was a "people watching" delight - many of the race goers were dressed up to the nines (hoping for sunnier weather) and obviously out to have a great time, contrasting sharply with the regulars who are only interested in the horses.
