Trees in the water

A morose morning walk, having just cast my vote. I should have been happy - living in a democracy and everything - but I couldn't help but feel gloomy about how the results are probably going to go.
The reflection in this muddy puddle seemed to sum it up: trees still bare despite it being May, and the ones that have bloomed are already losing their gorgeous blossoms.
Now that I'm uploading this, the clouds have lifted and it has turned into a warm sunny evening. Maybe there is hope after all...
