Hold the Front Page

An exhausted and desperate blip tonight.
Allotment first thing, then mowing our friend's lawn, a big shop and a long walk home with all the messages.
The whole day I was listening to BBC 5Live, the news and sport radio channel.

One thing that this era of rolling news has taught me: there are 743 different ways to say, "We have got no idea what's happening right now, and our speculation as to what might happen later is based on actually no facts at all."

People who admit, right up front, that they have no idea what's going on are interviewed, and asked to speculate, based on no facts at all. Later, other people will be put through the same pointless process. Then the news bulletin will be: "Speculation is growing that..."

Well, looks like Cameron is heading to Buck House to see Liz.

In other news, we had roast chicken for tea.
