Arthur Melville sky

I saw The Glasgow Boys exhibition in Kelvingrove today and was overwhelmed by the skill and imagination of one of them in particular - Arthur Melville. I knew the work of Hornel and Guthrie and Lavery fairly well and had always admired them, but Melville's work was a revelation. On the way home, I looked up and the sky suddenly appeared exactly like one of his paintings.
