Slime Mold

Today's hike was in Tilden Park, mostly on the Selby Trail. It was a very cool, foggy morning and the forested trail was stunningly beautiful with lots to admire and examine along the way. These fruiting bodies of "Wolf's Milk" slime mold, Lycogala epidendrum were found on a decaying log on the Memory Trail.
