Countdown...

...well, the countdown has started for me. T left for home today...I will have to wait for 4 more days before my vacation begins...when I saw her off at the but-stop, she said - "okay, will see on 25th, behind the betel leaves :)". That's how the bride and the groom used to see each other for the very first time in the olden days...traditionally, the bride holds two betel leaves, covering her face and only when she parts them, is when the groom sees her for the first time. The tradition will be followed here as well, but it won't really be the 'first time'.

Otherwise a rather lazy Saturday. Yesterday's rain did more damage than benefit...it added humidity to heat, making it a little worse than earlier. No progress on the packing front....maybe tonight or tomorrow.
