Ed's Blip

The Cuillins

Today we made the long trip to Skye for our holiday. We are staying at Seal Haven cottage in Skinidin near Dunvegaen in the North West.

It was a beautiful sunny morning when we set off. Perfect for the stunnung scenery we were to see on our way up North. Driving through Glencoe was particularly spectacular.

We got the ferry from Mallaig to Armadale which provided a nice break from the driving. Orla particularly appreciated that. I think even she was getting bored of the nursery rhymes CD we had playing.

We eventually arrived at the cottage at 5:30pm. We were greeted by the owner Denise who lives next door. She was very friendly and left a nicely presented welcome pack with some local eggs and homemade marmalade.

Here's a link to Orla's blip.
