Sha Tin Racecourse

Our last day in Hong Kong was spent going to the Hong Kong Jockey Club, watching 7 of 11 races, one ever 30 minutes.

The Goose and I have never been to a racetrack before, nor have we ever really been interested in it before. However, besides the blistering hot weather, we had a great time.

The four of us (still with our friends P&E) bet on several races, but came up empty handed. Thankfully, none of us spent more than a few bucks on each bet.

Its definitely an interesting sport, with a very dedicated/knowledgeable fan base. Theres a horse racing culture that is very different from the other sporting cultures I'm more accustomed to.

The Goose and I agreed that when we get back to the States, we'll have to check out Emerald Downs, a racetrack near Seattle.
