Drinking under St George the Martyr

Met a friend in the Queen's Larder pub in Bloomsbury - I'd never been there before and was impressed that they sold Twiglets. No exotic beers, though. We sat outside in a little alleyway, and when I looked up I could see the spire of St George the Martyr - I like spotting windvanes in London, and this one is quite good.

I've also found this little piece of info about the Queen's Larder pub:

'This pub is named after Queen Charlotte, wife of King George III, who was being treated for his insanity at a doctor's house in Queen Square where this pub is located. The Queen rented a small cellar beneath the pub to keep the special foods which King George needed.'
