Everything's growing....

...... and growing too fast. I need to get some weeding done in this garden. Also - all the lovely ox-eyed daisies and red campion which seemed a good idea to plant a few years ago are running rampant, and need to be howked out.

What doesn't help is when you drop a big planter on your thumb, swear copiously, watch it swell to enormous proportions, rub arnica on it and breathe a sigh of relief that the thumb hasn't fallen off.

Gardening had to stop, and sherry had to be poured.

Medicinal, of course.
