Ball of color

I don't know the name of this plant, but it was a nice ball of color on an otherwise grey and damp day. I had two classes down on the main campus of the University of Cincinnati this morning, then stopped at the "Y" to work out in the fitness room on the way back. This afternoon I was doing some housework. Not an exciting day, but a satisfying one.
