Madison Square Garden

At the New York Knicks vs the Boston Celtics game in Madison Square Garden on Martin Luther King Jnr Day. The Celtics beat the Knicks 109 points to 93 and the top scorer was Kevin Garnett (for the Celtics). The Knicks are not very good at the moment and probably won't make the play-offs, while the Celtics are contenders for the title. As it was a public holiday, there was a good crowd of both sets of fans and a great atmosphere. The Knicks fans know they're not very good, but the day before the New York Giants had won the Atlantic Conference to book a place in the Superbowl (against the New England Patriots, so New York vs Boston again) and several of the football players were there. The loudest cheers of the afternoon were reserved for when the cameras focussed in on them!

We paid a visit to the NBA store and bought Baby Jackson a Boston Celtics mini basketball hoop and ball, a basketball rattle, a Knicks t-shirt and LeBron James (who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers) babygro, because he is Ed's favourite player in the NBA.
