Digging up the Gorbals

One of the archaeological digs on the M74 extension route. This is on the little isolated bit of Pollokshaws Road.

The walls that they've dug up seem too close together to be tenement cellars. I was speaking to another cyclist passing, he says the archeologists are around early, so maybe I'll ask them what these are tomorrow morning.
