Long way up

After yesterday's precarious staircase, I wanted something more substantial for today. What better than the one I climb up and down half a dozen times a day. It's rock solid and has been here a good 120 years, apparently. Quite possibly it hasn't been painted in this century or the last, ever since acid yellow and moss green were a fashionable combination. And just look at that dust...
