Gifts of Grace

Snow in Summer

Cerastium tomentosum - lives up to its name - very white flowers came out today against the lovely silvery foliage. A plant I remembered from childhood, spilling over dry banks and walls. I finally got hold of some last year and it has established itself in the little alpine bed that gets pounded by waves in winter. A hardy soul.
