Brown Thrasher

Today, prior to packing for my trip to San Diego tomorrow, decided to go to the beach to see what was happening. There were less shorebirds than yesterday, but the horseshoe crabs are starting to come in at high tide to lay their eggs (Full Moon tomorrow) so there should be more shorebird then.
As we were leaving from the shore the Brown Thrasher made its appearance and come close and stayed for a while. This allowed us to not only study it but get some nice photos. I have been wanting to obtain photos of the thrasher since April, but they have only been visible with binoculars or heard by their call
