Smoke me a Kipper...

Well an Arbroath Smokie at least. I think Kippers can actually be made from a variety of fish where the Arbroath Smokie is primarily made from haddock. I remember hearing on the news a couple of months back that Arbroath has been designated the only place you can make an Arbroath Smokie and call it an Arbroath Smokie. Making it like Champagne in that respect.

We needed change for the car park this morning so we took a wee saunter to the farmer's market that was in Dunfermline today. The Arbroath Smokie stand was up smoking haddock there and then.

If you ever get a chance, try one, they are absolutely delicious
