I had actually set out to get a photo of Emerson's grave tonight and do some light painting. I had my tripod, flashlights, gels, and mosquito spray, but I chickened out when I drove up to the empty cemetery, alone, and saw there were no lights anywhere. None whatsoever. Even with the full moon, the wooded cemetery was pitch black. Guess I can't really list 'courage' as one of my virtues.

My daughter was home sick with a croupy cough and low-grade fever. Does sitting on the floor playing Lego with my child all afternoon count as a virtue?
