Jeddah

...has been my home and place of work for the last three months.

I've had a great time. Done loads! I've not been out of Jeddah as much as I'd have liked to, but in a country like Saudi, it's best to follow security advice. I've enjoyed my first taste of the Middle East and had a lovely welcome here. I shall treasure the fact that I have a Saudi visa in my passport.

I've learnt to dive but more importantly, I've met some lovely people, which is what it's all about. I've got one more day in work and whilst I'll be sad to leave tomorrow evening, it can't come quickly enough. I've been counting the days until I land in Blighty on Wednesday morning because I'm going 'home home'. Hurrah!!
