As previously noted, the Jarvis thrives on beer and prefers to be served speedily. Hence Jarvis rule number three:
Avoid crowded bars, unless the bar staff know a Jarvis when they see one and you can get served quick.
This bar is La Ovella Negra, or The Black Sheep, an old bar in Barcelona's city centre popular among young Catalans - but not so popular at opening time, 5pm.
