Marie's Graduation

No internet in Mzuzu means I can show off one of my favourite women.Harisen writes

John,
The internet is not ok, I can't send pictures.
I went to Makuzi on Sunday to see the broken borehole.
I fixed it and water was coming out, but i noted few things; The rods are not straight, so when pumping, the rubber on the valve is rubing against the pipe forcing the rubber on the valve to move out/worn out quickly.
The plunger was old and scrashed.
More about this when the internet returns.
Harisen.

For the past two years Mary and I attended a course called Pathways run by All Hallows College, Dublin, with 25 other "students". The course was exhilarating as were the participants, none more so than Marie on the right of to day's picture.
Shown here with her family and friends, she is a special one, and has certainly enriched my life with her solid Christian values.
What has this to do with Malawi you might ask!
Well at the end of the graduation cermony, Fr Eugene asked the group to make a contribution to Wells for Zoe and the result was a staggering 1075 Euro, which can give clean drinking water to about 1000 people.
Fr Eugene and his team are an amazing group who have designed and offer this inspiring, challenging and thought provoking course. It is now available "almost Nationwide" and if you can get to do it you will find a new and more positive view of the world and those around you.
Thanks to all, for the course, the night and the new possibilities for your neighbours half way round the globe. Watch this space!!
Go Meidigh Dia a stór.
