Broken

The Loo isn't a happy wind. One would do well to try and dodge it. Or shut the doors and windows when it knocks. Today it broke a frame in the balcony. The better parts of today constituted food.

I've uploaded some photos from, as opposed to of my vacation here. And speaking of the vacation, here's a poem by Ruskin Bond :

Once you have lived with mountains

Once you have lived with mountains
Under the whispering pines
And deodars, near stars
And a brighter moon,
With wood smoke and mist
Sweet smell of grass and dew lines
On spider-spun, sun-kissed
Buttercup and vine;
Once you have lived with these,
Blessed, God's favourite then,
You will return,
You will come back
To touch the trees and grass
And climb once more the windswept mountain pass.
