Mr. Jones's hanging baskets

Lovely end to the day, time to walk round and enjoy the late sunshine on the brickwork. Mr Jones from the middle house here always wins prizes in the village gardens competition for his spectacular hanging basket display in July. He must have been busy puttng them up over the weekend when I was away. As I was taking the photo, another neighbour spotted me and came out for a chat - she's just visible in the doorway on the right. It's been a difficult day for a number of reasons but we were both cheered up by the evening sun and the antics of the local gang of three mischievous cats.
