Venus by Gas[ometer]light

The Evening Star, Venus, is visible through the tracery of the lone gasometer that remains on the Western Riverside in Bath, Somerset.

The photo was taken as I returned to my car parked on the Midland Road from the monthly Laura's Writers' Group, held on the first Wednesday in each month at THE VICTORIA WORKS pub off the Lower Bristol Road, Bath.

THE VICTORIA WORKS has recently been renovated. Controversially, the new management also changed the name from THE BELVOIR CASTLE in 2009.
