The one that got away

Old-fashioned service and 'make do and get by' remain alive in Wales.

Individual towels still offered in the 'restroom' (horrendous American expression) at a tea room in a converted barn at Talybont in the Brecon Beacons.

The chair has been pressed into service to hold both the new and used towels. One imagines the aged Welsh lady in shawl and tall black hat will want it back shortly to resume her seat at her spinning wheel ;-)
