Sometimes...

Sometimes friends are good, sometimes friends are bad, sometimes friends are wonderful.

I got a belated birthday card today from my friend Emily today and it landed address side up, so when I picked it up, I knew it was from her. But I got a surprise when I turned it over and saw a host of gold stars.

I love her for that. Made me smile all day.

Which is lucky given I've been elbow deep in papier-mâché and paint all day building props for the new window at work. I do like a bit of paper-mâché. I think most of my childhood was lost to torn up newspaper and pva glue!

Kinda inevitable I'd go into design!
