Perpendicular Gothic

The Palace of Westminster - designed and constructed in the entitled style. The competition for the reconstruction of the Palace was won by architect Charles Barry, but it is most often attributed to his collaborator, the Gothic architect Augustus Pugin.

I struggled through the hordes of tourists, besuited and hot. As I drew camera from its case, I thought if you can't beat them, join them.

This shot is an ensemble of two separate shots, which I've desaturated - to let the eye concentrate on the fine Gothic shapes of the architecture. I hope you like it.
