Pictorial Allsorts

Palmetto

Second day with the GRD III and another disaster of my own making.

Last night I was playing about with the camera, as you do, and cranked up the ISO to 400. Needless to say, I didn't turn it back to ISO 64 for daylight shooting. In full sunlight, I couldn't make out the ISO. I think I may need to turn up the brightness setting on the LCD.

You can imagine the consequences of shooting at ISO 400 in bright sunshine.

Fortunately, I was able to salvage one shot for today's blip.

A useful lesson has been learned, namely, don't leave the house without first checking the settings on the camera. Hopefully, I will never make the same mistake again.

But then again, never say never. :-)
