Willow Reflections

Another good frost this morning but a nice bright day followed.

Mum and I had time for a river walk while waiting for Daughter E to finish her dance lesson.  The river was gentle and calm today.  A few boats were seen and some young boys were fishing from the side.  They hadn't caught anything but were having a great time. Fishermen were returning from sea and were cleaning boats, while the ducks floated by, taking a free ride from the current.

The last of the weeping willows are changing and looked golden in the sunlight. The native New Zealand flax is in the foreground. On the front right of the photo you can see flattened grass, this is how high the river got last week with all the rain.

Have a great weekend :)
