The Langport Wren

Ken H gave me a corm of this old iris some years ago - I didn't think it would survive the first year, with its leaves eaten away by slugs. But it returned the second year and managed one flower and now we have half a dozen.

In addition to its beautiful bronze/purple velvet petals it has the bonus of a delicious scent. Mmm!
