Day 9 - Cody, Wyoming

A luxurious second day in Cody, Wyoming - no driving today!!!!

Leisurely breakfast at Peter's on Sheridan Avenue (Main Street) - bacon, eggs etc etc etc - the only way to start our days. Then to Buffalo Bills Historical Centre - what could be a cheesy tourist trap is in fact a superb and beautifully presented museum, covering all aspects of the Wild West.

Followed that with a short visit to Old Trail Town - old cabins and buildings transported and rebuilt, including ones frequented by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Souvenir shopping on Main Street after that - a Sheriff's badge for me!

Rested for an hour in the garden of our inn and played croquet. Then to the Irma Hotel to watch the Cody gunfighters perform - great fun!!!! A few games of pool and beer in the Silver Dollar (we should have a loyalty card) and now off out for tea.
